Poetry

Apparently, Icewolf does have a bit of a poetic streak in her. *grins* Here's a sample!

A story
with no words.
Beauty
captured in a moment.
Reality
caught with truth.
Life
without death.
Instants
frozen forever.
Emotion
felt with little reason.
Love
shown through a Father's creation.
Gifts
presented with pride.

Pictures.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Listening quietly,
to the tears of the earth,
thinking silently,
hoping for what it's worth,
Of a reason to love,
myself the way I am,
with courage from above,
with blessing from the Lamb.
And fading like the dew,
when the sun shows its face
I find myself anew,
shedding all my disgrace.
Wow! That was so pretty. I love those! When I read them, it felt like I had taken a deep breath of fresh air. Aaaaahh.
I love the first poem, with its almost-contradictory lines.
Scezzle- Thank yous, I think those are the only good ones in my batch of poems *scowls at sheets of paper with other poems on them, disowning them* Glad you liked them!
Eagle- *grin* I did too. Thanks!
That was really good! I have trouble with rhymes, but those were really good rhymes.
